盲道

　　交作业:城市盲道拍摄
2008.7.20 上海张杨路


1.长条是行走,点是提醒(停止或者要拐弯了),这是我看下来的理解.铺得还是比较仔细的,有障碍物会绕过,虽然对盲人来说应该不怎么方便


2.井盖,不能铺地砖,也绕开


3.但是,见缝插针地停车,是不管什么盲道不盲道的,这是铺设时料想不到的


4.铺设的时候也考虑了公交车站头,会有盲道引到候车处.


5.但是路总是在建设,后面的改动就不那么周到了,新加的数字站牌正好压住盲道


6.窄人行道上的盲道纯属完成人物,通往电线杆


7.新加的公交港湾式站点,也把盲道切断了


8.地铁(6号线,其它也是),盲道是引向楼梯,而不是自动扶梯的,乍看很不能理解,难道盲人走楼梯更方便么?


9.然后理解了,自动扶梯是有方向的,似乎不容易标示


10.内部盲道是通往总是关闭的'特殊通道',总之,盲人独自穿行地铁是很困难的,线路复杂,加上人潮汹涌,不怎么现实.


11.盲道地砖的质量貌似比较脆弱,比如这里,多数已经磨平了


12.无障碍通道工程,人行道的终点都是平滑过渡到马路,盲道都打点


13.不少地方无障碍坡道是后改建的,所以水泥重新铺过,盲道就在水泥外打一圈点,乍看挺困惑的.


14.无障碍的问题是,这个自行车道严重缺乏的城市,人行道顺利转化为自行车道,所以这样的盲道出口其实比较危险的.

　　You're right.
　 　I just join a group, they ask for blind pedestrian lane status from different cities. I guess they are doing something to improve the situation, thus hand-in my part of homework. :)

街景

其实还是4500用得多,D80太大了,麻烦,和随时带相机的愿望背道而驰.
要隆重地背个大包出门,一来现在不可能,光小兜就够重了,二来显得太没劲了,多别扭啊,生活着顺便拍拍就算了,特意一个大包,似乎身边的人,甚至自己,都是不必要的,都应该虚化到消失,那就没意思了.

顺路扫扫街

　　前两日是明澈的夏天,风大,透明,到处亮晃晃的阳光,真是好天儿啊.让人喜欢.4500揣在包里,正好拿出来扫扫街.过程有趣,大于结果优良.自我娱乐得很起劲.

And now you are taking a lot of black and white photos:) I really like b&w, somehow they look more gentle and peaceful to me. But I guess it's hard (maybe harder than colored ones) to get a clean shot with b&w.Nevertheless, the feeling of serenity does show up in your pictures:)

Actually not so hard as you guess. :) At first I also think b&w is hard. But later I found the best part of it is: you walk arround from color balance problem. In some cases, color is not important, in night, in some single color environment. It's almost same with color or not, just b&w plus some kind of hue. 　 　But on streets, b&w is much easier to make the picture hamony. If with color, it will be a big choas. Colors may fight with each other. But in b&w, this problem is ignored. So I think an admirable color street/record photo is much harder, more demanding. You need to be very smart and quick and master of all factors. I can't do it yet.

That makes a lot of sense:-) But then in a less crowded environment, I guess b&w is harder to convey the rich information a color shot can. Although I feel anytime in a natural scene, crowding is a big problem. This really makes me feel our visual system is so good at filtering information:-) -- what I see, and what I hope to be shown on a picture, is seldom the same (most of the time much cleaner/nicer obviously) as what I can get on a shot.

true. 　　 learning the difference between the way eye/mind perceive and the way the camera produces pictures is always the skill to be learned. and, of course, B/W and colour photography differ also here. 　　to me, it sometimes looks like this difference is best expressed by the sentence by ludwig wittgenstein: 　　 　　"not _HOW_ the world is, is the mystical, but _THAT_ it is." 　　 　 　colour photo will show how the world is (well, at least a little part of it). but B/W tries to catch the mystical that is behind the surface of things by abstracting from the obvious. 　　 　　sebastian
