i like how the lower branch of the rose follows the light and shadow on the water surface. the pink roses are leaning towards the pink or purple dressed women as if they have a look on her. this picture tells so many stories...
clothes in the yard, dozing in sun and shadow on the old stone wall;
red walls and green leaves, complementary colours look strong, but in the warm sunlight so harmonic ...
thank you for sharing these places with us.
sunlight in may always makes me start dreaming. life seems so easy in these 'foresummer' days, and i discover my town as i haven't done before. there are wonderful places and even more wonderful people. oh beautiful world.

the 'flower in may' might be epilobium; at least it looks similar.
i remember melia azedarach from the lake of garda in italy.

O, the Chinese name is funny, 'willow leaf vegetable' for the slim shape leaf.
