如果不要色彩

  因为觉得调了颜色愧疚,于是干脆去掉颜色,是这样的。
  B&W version

The interesting part is, when I took the picture, I think the green color is so important. All the beautiful feeling comes from the wet green, in trees, in air, when you suddenly out of a dark cave and the color full of the open area. I thought it will be defintely a failure if the color can't be so great as I see it.
But finally it turns out that color doesn't matter at all, although it's a different version in B&W, but it doesn't hurt the essence.

  well, quite interesting.
but i object in some respect: a colour picture and a b/w picture will be different. omitting colour might not hurt the essence, but it changes the picture and its expression in a quite important aspect ...

the result can have a completely different air, but it can also be fairly similar.
that it is quite similar here is due to the fact, that also the clour version is almost monochromatic, and the colours are not bright and luminescent, but rather dark.
now, imagine there had been a little child on the stairs, dressed in bright red - immediately everything changes, and coloured rendition will be sooooo different from the b/w version.

so, finally, both colour and b/w are valid, both are interesting ... but they will be quite different.

still i need to improve my skill in b/w

em, yes, you are right. The problem is acctually I failed to make the green as vivid as eyes see. That's why there's no big difference from b/w version: it's already on half way towards b/w.
  right, right, very right.

I just begin to understand b/w a little bit. :)
