So many shiny lotus flowers :-)) It's not easy to catch the colours in such a strong sunlight and high contrasts to dark water + leaves.
The third picture is very good, very detailed, each stamen separate; the changing colours of the style, from yellow to green; the fresh green of the leaves, framed by dark shadows... Great.
The dragonfly landing shoot is also very nice. If there where a dragonfly I would show this picture to one of our professors: He is a specialist for dragonflies.
The curious fruit reminds me of a shower head. Maybe an obvious association on such a hot day (right now we have 33°C).
Some years ago I bought a pack of dried lotus seeds. First I wasn't convinced by the taste - until I found out that the green seed leaves taste bitter. Without them I liked the seeds much better... But I still prefer cashew nuts ;-)

Your association is just the same as we do. We call the shower head 'lotus head'. The fresh seeds taste nice, better than dry one. That's why I look it so closely... wait until it is ready. :-~
Usually there will be seller on streets, selling these lotus heads. You just pick out the seed, get rid of the green cover, then that's the version of dried one. Then you can eat it with or without green seed leaves. The bitter seed leaves are good for cool down the body. Fresh seeds tastes juicy and with herb fragrancy.

现在是这样的：
如果是站点上的页面，http头中就包含referer，即当前页面URL,然后各相册都拒绝来自外站点的引用，前两天pchome维护，原来就在折腾这个（gznet，无忌论坛，photo.net除外，可能他们都懒得设这个）
其它，比如你在本地写个页面引用，哪怕在IE直接http打开图片，都不会有referer值，就都没问题
也是有理由的，http打头可以认为是商用，其它属于个人收藏。而且引用带来：1.算不进点击率的访问 2.占用带宽，正常访问受影响
麻烦的是我之流蹭免费相册的人……这是包在协议头里的，折腾来折腾去，等查到这层才死心，没法绕得开
烦恼，而且发现webshots.com上传照片无比方便快捷，简直是最好的相册－－也不能引用
天涯还叫嚣天涯人用天涯相册，才1M，晕死

拆风扇
近来对工作迷惑，价值何在，没有成就感，所以低沉。
有比较好的说法是，毕竟没有把自己‘卖光’，我们听了都拼命点头，是啊，那些钟点外的时间终究还是自己的，用来生活，做想做的事，总好过疯狂的连轴转。
还是没看清楚，想法不明确。最不安的人都转走了，问题是那种意气洋洋的生活也不是很向往，但心态给坏掉了。
今天拆洗风扇，以前一直没拆成的部位两下就弄好了，很愉快。
当初读研，在宿舍怎么琢磨都没搞下来，大家都没成－－可见读书多么多么没用！今天一看是显而易见的，就只能是拿螺丝刀用力拨开一个细铁栓。
然后想这两年每日里坐着从未知推断到未知原来还是有用的，好歹思维得到了锻炼，人聪明点了。
后来又想想，那些无比遥远的当机、数据毁坏、异常、逻辑错误，和这个细铁栓有什么关系呢？多半还是最近看多了装修工人怎么安装那些管道水盘挂钩。
仍然是没有意义啊。

最近

35公里文集
喜欢这篇书评，边缘阅读.《我的安东尼亚》，所以我确信这本书非常美好，要买的，还没找到……
另外终于看到美国进入了50年代，看到这一章忍不住大笑，感到无比欣慰，原来都是一样的。
这章说，40年代末美国人民从空气里嗅出什么事不对劲来着，对，总之，整个社会道德开始败坏，虽然日子开始好过起来，大家都不知道这是为什么。接着又说，那时候，政要显贵们的生活极其腐朽，例举了色情业的兴旺，并且分析了为什么需要职业化的服务（你不能指望那些有身份的人也到酒吧里勾搭躁动不安的女招待吧，风险太高，纠缠不休没有职业道德怎么行），同时说受良好教育的女学生也加入了这个有前途的行业。最后说，当然，那时候的美国人民是不知道这些光鲜的大人物过的是这样子的生活，‘倒不是人们对他们还有什么幻想，而是人民普遍认为，这些人忙着侵吞国家财富还忙不过来呢’。
读完这个，我脑子里充满了对世界的新认识，兴高采烈地去上班了。原来并不是只有我们掉入了这么可耻的境地，一切光荣都有其黑漆漆的入口。
然后看《悟空传》，总之把电视机卖掉是很好的举动。
此书不是一般地高，让我以后想想清楚再说。
同时在看《厨房机密》，果然是好书，有趣得很。
但是如果一定要详细地打分，《悟空传》绝对是五星，相比之下，也许《厨房》要减一颗。
《悟空传》让我头脑里充满了混乱的想法，当然它有弱点，有些地方薄而脆，但这无关紧要。
Georgia又给了另一个站点看王小慧，这里图片好像大一些了，而且主要是，用几乎从没看过的眼光重新又看了一遍。

This is her famous work, 'a walking lady'. Still I wonder, what's good if a calla looks like a walking woman? It is very smart, but...
Look at the photo again, I realize, maybe the similarity is not so important, maybe it is not good for so smart. The point is, this lady has such a beautiful step. How can you take the flower so airly?

It is hard to explain why I like this one. Maybe I am fascinated in the red delicated pettals and green background, just like last one.
But more important, I can't like it as much if without the tiny difference between the two copy.
Such difference catches my eyes. Life is so delicated but silent, such unnoticable change touches your heart just like a gentle tick.

The last night, we came back to the singapore river side. A circle to end. But this time for the Merlion and durian theatre.
