大连 Dalian (2005.1)

北边的冬天其实挺舒服，室内很暖。走在夜晚的街道，干脆透明的寒冷，毫无阻隔地直通到天上，大半轮洁白的月亮。反倒是长江沿岸阴湿的冻雨，寒气直透骨髓，无处躲藏。站在外面没什么冷的感觉，只是一会儿开始觉得耳朵边有点疼起来。
我把镜头对向夜空，希望能够拍下这通透的冷的空气。

The dry coldness in north is not bad. Following the clear air, above your head, a almost full white moon at night.
I turn my camera up, hope to catch this crystal cold air in my lens.

并没有遇到下雪。但同事说你还可以去看看海的，因为只有冬天海才是蓝绿色的，夏天是灰色。如果遇到晴空万里，那才叫美呢。
我一下又有了动力，真是人生处处有惊喜啊。可惜没有碰到大晴天，是淡水太阳，空中里迷迷蒙蒙的雾气。
老虎滩

Although I didn't get snow, my colleague told me the winter sea is also beautiful if I can get a clear sunny blue sky. The sea is jade blue only in winter, and gray in summer.
So I was happy about that, there is always something unexpected. I didn't get a sunny sky, a little foggy sun shine.

When I am shivering on the shore in the hard wind, Dalian people are swimming happily in the cold cold sea.


他们在海滩上脱掉大棉袄，或者擦干带上来的海水，个个大喊大叫。海风那个冷啊，不喊怎么行

They take off thick cloth, or dry up themselves on the pebble beach and shouting in the wind.

星海广场大连百年城雕，纪念大连建城100周年，1897(99?)-199x。
一百个脚印。出租车司机说都是名人的脚印啊，什么大连实德的球星啊之类的。我问，名人的脚那么特别吗？
那当然啊，咱们能随便把脚印踩那上面去吗？
尽头是一个巨大的拱，类似滑板运动的那种，司机说，尽头是本翻开的书，我说，噢，我看到的，那个大碗。
司机说，那怎么是碗呢，怎么是碗呢？！

就象许多其它城市，大连的房地产早已涨了上去。这几幢就是大连最昂贵的楼盘，一万多每平方。大连楼市均价六千多。我觉得，相比上海那些喧嚣而贵得毫无根据的房子，这个楼盘还是挺有些理由的：面朝大海，处在亚洲最大的广场边缘，海边停着一艘奢侈的据说世界上也能排得上号的豪华游轮，旁边山坡上是个漂亮的城堡－－贝壳博物馆，河对岸是一长溜大连消费最高的小资腐败场所。
想来住在里面的人一定很有感觉，象这楼层一样高高在上。到了夜晚，这四个楼顶似乎是整个大连唯一打着漂亮紫色灯火的住宅。
嗯，让我们见证这热火朝天的楼市吧。同时见证，城市的毒瘤在不知不觉中肿大，我们在年关将近时日益谨慎，乞讨欺骗抢劫偷盗迷香早不是新闻。当陌生人带着可疑的接近方式前来问路时，我们后退两步，迅速计算着真伪，并且毅然决然地转身离去。

　　第三张让我想起大连的公共澡堂，那时候洗个澡真难啊。不知道现在普通市民是否还要去挤公共澡堂。

　　Em, 'pirate jump' is, quite often (based on stories) the pirate will ask you very kindly, will you jump this way or that way, into the sea?
　　
　　The footprints are from different person, one foot per guy, so called, 'elites'.
　　
　　About the price, it is for ownership. Taxi driver told me, acctually everybody will tell you so. Now most of us are interested/suffered in real estate, almost everyone will discuss the high price. It almost triples in last 5 years in Shanghai. See, enough reason for focusing on it, laughing if you bought one or several some years ago, or crying if you did not and have to now.
