You can never see why a river is good standing on a bridge. They are all the same.
But if cut down from a trail to the river side, the world is totally different.
Hi duck sir, does it taste nice, or you want to build a nestle?
Em, the answer is very complicated, poor my language. But I can see, the water is cold. :)
From the clear pebbles, to the blue water surface, to the dark green trees.
The trees are very beautiful.
There is also a bouch of yellow flowers.
Some flower living in the water.
They grow up beneath the pebbles
And smile beside the river.
Little ants are also busy at the riverside.
Hurry up, long long way to go.
I can't help laughing when I saw this car resting on the road beside the river. Cool Mr. Driver. :)) I like Munich!

that "driver" is well known throughout germany.
his name is werner. he stems from flensburg, the northern most town og germany, and is the so to say hero of a series of totally stupid cartoons.
btw, he's known to ride motorcycles. and he happens to look very much like his inventor who calls himself 'brösel' (hope the o-umlaut works OK on this page).
here is a pic of broesel:

denise says, the yellow flower probably is "ranunculus acris" - she currently cannot see some of the picures that's why i an first...

Ah, so that's Mr. Werner. Em, he has a name card on neck.
Actually this is not my first seeing of him. One of my colleague in last company, a art designer, has one of him. But we dont know what is his name. She likes to collect well produced toy models with details. That small werner is a very good one and very funny and crazy -- it is designed to pull his jean pants down! :))

Now I can see all pictures :)
Yes, I still think it is Ranunculus acris (but difficult to tell without seeing the leaves), in English 'meadow buttercup'.
The beautiful trees mainly are white willows. they are very common here and typically growing on river shores.
Here you can see my description of this tree (click on the leaves. sorry, it is in German only).
White Willow
Thinking of Munich I remember one book: 'Letters Back to Ancient China' by the German author Herbert Rosendorfer.
You find a description of it here:
'Letters Back to Ancient China'
It is telling about a Chinese mandarin who travels 1000 years into the future - to a 20th century Munich.
This book gives a critical and humorous view on our culture through the eyes of an objective person - for us who are familiar with European culture but have little knowledge of Chinese culture and history.
I wonder how you - familiar with Chinese culture and history - would think about this book.

sebastel is taken by surprize - werner and his anatomical details are known even in 中国 .... :-))))))
actually, werner is supposed to be complete only with a bottle of beer in his hands.
whatsoever. althought this is "german living culture", and it is not the kind of culture someone is very proud of.. but since it can give you a good laugh (even if it is not a refined, sophisticated one) i am not unhappy with it.
right now reading harry potter/order of phoenix. just nice when you're sick and it's a COLD autumn sunday afternoon. (nothing serious, throat and ear giving a bit of pain)
